Dance Collection Danse Archives maintains its collection in portfolios. These carry the name of the donor, artist or organization. We are currently building a catalogue for each portfolio using the Canadian Integrated Dance Database.

Several collections are stored in the DCD Electronic Archives.

The following inventory provides a brief overview of some of the individual portfolios in the collection.

The archives contains photographs, periodicals, house programs, news clippings, books, theatrical props, drawings, paintings, films, videotapes, artifacts and memorabilia related to Canadian theatrical dance and approximately 1100 hours of oral histories.

In most cases, copies of paper documents, photographs and oral histories can be obtained by users. There are nominal charges for these services. PC indicates photocopied items, O indicates originals and E indicates electronic archives.
