FILM OF SOLOS, KINGSTON, ONTARIO, 1969
This movie, filmed by Jane Rodgers, shows Judy Jarvis performing eight dances from her solo repertoire. These dances were all choreographed between 1966 and 1969 and reflect the influence of Mary Wigman and German expressionism on the young choreographer. Three of these solos, Water (Ophelia), Prophet and Bird (Flight) continued to appear in her concerts until the end of her career. There is no accompanying sound track.

VIDEO EXCERPTS FROM INTERVIEW, 1974
These excerpts are from an interview with Judy Jarvis conducted by Lawrence Adams. The interview began in an outdoor location in Toronto and then continued some time later at Judy's apartment on Walmer road. In the first excerpt we hear Judy describe a creative process that she used to generate ideas and movement. The second excerpt is part of Judy's answer to the question often asked of modern dance artists, "What is dance?" and the third excerpt centres on Judy's reasons for returning to Canada to pursue her career in dance rather than staying in Germany where she had achieved such success.

THE WIGMAN TAPES, 1971
While on her annual Christmas sojourn to visit Mary Wigman, Judy Jarvis made these recordings in Zurich at the Hotel Bellrive au Lac, January 1, 1971. What becomes apparent through these conversations is the humour, love and respect that these two women shared. Jarvis was twenty-eight years old and Wigman was eighty-four.
