Amy Bowring (Site Editor/Curator)
Amy Bowring (B.A. Fine Arts, York University; M.A. Journalism, University of Western Ontario) is a freelance dance writer and historian, the Director of Research at Dance Collection Danse, Founder/Director of the Society for Canadian Dance Studies and Copy Editor for The Dance Current. Amy has written for Dance Collection Danse Magazine, Canadian Encyclopedia, International Dictionary of Modern Dance, Encyclopedia of Theatre Dance in Canada and The Dance Current, among other publications. She is a co-recipient of the 2002 Toronto Emerging Dance Artist Award for her work as a dance writer. Amy is currently writing a book about the Canadian Ballet Festivals (1948-1954).

The owner of
Believe It Design Works, Michael has created Web sites and graphic designs for a variety of companies, foundations, societies and individuals. Notable clients include Theatre Direct Canada, The Society for Canadian Dance Studies/Société des études canadiennes en danse, Dancing Our Stories and Dance Collection Danse. Most recently he designed sites for Cindy Ashton, Theatremanation, and Rhythmic By Nature. Also a professional actor, Michael’s primary focus is to work for arts-related clients.
