Michele (Presly) Green (Author/Curator)
Michele Green is a freelance writer and former dancer, teacher and director. A member of Winnipeg Contemporary Dancers (1971-73), she later co-founded Saskatchewan Dance Theatre with husband Jim Green. For twenty years Michele ran the Stouffville (Ontario) DanceCentre and DanceCentre Youth Company, retiring from teaching in 2000. Michele is a recent graduate of the Humber School for Writers programme and is currently a regular feature writer for the regional Ontario magazine In the Hills. She is author of the book David Earle: A Choreographic Biography, published 2006. Her work appears in publications including Sideroads of Caledon & Erin, The Headwaters Tourism Guide and Canadian Writer's Journal.
Seika Boye (Site Editor)
Seika Boye is a writer, teacher and dance artist based in Toronto. She is the former Department Editor of The Dance Current Magazine and is currently working as a consultant for Peggy Baker Dance Projects. Seika has taught in the Dance and Kinesiology Departments at York University where she completed her MA in Dance in 2006. She has been affiliated with DCD since 2004 and is currently a full-time intern with the support of the Metcalf Foundation.
Michael Ripley (Site Designer)
The owner of Believe It Design Works, Michael has built Web sites for a variety of companies, foundations, societies and individuals. Currently, he is the Web master of record for Theatre Direct Canada, The Society for Canadian Dance Studies/Société des études canadiennes en danse, Dancing Our Stories and Dance Collection Danse. Most recently he designed sites for Cindy Ashton Sings, Theatremanation and The Event Bureau. Also a professional actor, Michael’s primary focus is building sites for arts-related clients.
