Kay Ambrose’s costume design for Toronto Theatre Ballet’s staging of “Le Spectre de la Rose” featuring David Adams and Lois Smith, 1952. The Toronto Theatre Ballet was a short-lived company created in the summer of 1952 by David Adams, Boris Volkoff and Stewart James and was designed to provide work for some of the National Ballet’s company members during the summer hiatus.
