In Case You Missed It…

Missed our International dance day event?

This year’s Lawrence & Miriam Adams Dance History Lecture was led by distinguished scholar and longtime collaborator Seika Boye, PhD, whose captivating talk explored DCD’s legacy as a vibrant hub of education – one of the most vital pillars of DCD’s activities.

Presented free in partnership with Canada’s Theatre Museum, this exclusive talk not only celebrated International Dance Day, but also marked the first in a series of events to celebrate DCD’s 40th Anniversary.

After her presentation, Dr. Boye was joined onstage for a Q&A with DCD’s Executive and Curatorial Director Amy Bowring and co-founder Miriam Lawrence, C.M..
