Live Historical Re-enactment

If you haven’t RSVP’d,  please do!  We have no doubt you’ll enjoy watching Amy Bowring, along with an eclectic team of performers, as they rehearse and re-enact a WWI patriotic performance first presented in St. John’s, NL in 1917.

The re-enactment will be followed by a presentation by Amy titled “Finding Mrs. Colville” exploring women’s work in performance during WWI in St. John’s when Newfoundland was still its own Dominion. This presentation marks the centenary of votes for (most) women on the island of Newfoundland in 1925.
