New Exhibition Now Live

Sincerely yours
Letters From The Collection
Correspondence is an essential part of any archival collection. From the most significant world events, to the most banal details of one’s daily life, the content of letters provides insight into the lives of their writers and the surrounding context in which those writers lived. They provide first-hand accounts of moments in history told from varying perspectives and can offer details that breathe life into the contemporary writings of historians. Curated by Amy Bowring

As we celebrate our 40th year we encourage you to not only view this wonderful new exhibition but to also explore the numerous others we’ve created over the years. These free resources are available on DCD.ca and provide a fascinating glimpse of our digital journey over the past 25 years. In-house designer (and DCD’s Marketing, Sales, and Social Media lead), Michael Ripley, has been building exhibitions for us – and maintaining DCD.ca in its various iterations – for decades.
DCD has been working hard at safeguarding and celebrating Canadian dance for 40 years, including our virtual exhibitions program. Consider supporting us as we build toward the future.
